Rev. Ken Daigle
Rev. Ken Daigle is a lively speaker whose deep spiritual commitment and knowledge is conveyed with irresistible enthusiasm. In 2012 he received his degree from Unity Institute® and was ordained at Unity of New York. He currently serves as the senior minister of Unity San Francisco. His journey into Truth and New Thought teachings started in New York City with Marianne Williamson, and then at Eric Butterworth’s Unity Church in 1989. He later found and dove into deeper studies of Unity with Rev. Paul Tenaglia at Unity of New York. Ken is the author of the internationally acclaimed course, Absolute Abundance, which he developed and teaches throughout the United States. Ken resides in San Francisco with his husband, J.D. Schramm, and their children, Tobias, Roma, and Joshua.
Stephen M. Cumbie
Stephen has an extensive background in commercial and residential real estate development. He presently serves as CEO and principal of NVCommercial Incorporated, NVRetail, and the Metro Realty group. He is also the president of NVCapital Advisors, a real estate investment fund. In addition, he has leadership roles in a number of community, business, and charitable organizations in the Washington, D.C., area. A member of Unity of Fairfax Church in Oakton, Virginia, for more than 20 years, he served on its Board of Trustees and led its building committee.
Dr. Melanie Dean
Melanie Dean, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist, has a background in science and business. She founded, grew, and sold a successful publishing business and patented a patient-physician communication system for chronic disorders. She is the author of the book The Hidden Power of Emotions: How to Activate Your Energy Field and Transform Your Life, which describes the science of how focused feelings are physical waves of energy that can be directed to attract what you want most in life. In addition to her education and research in science and psychology, she has been dedicated to the study of spirituality and has learned directly from the Dalai Lama. She has been active in Unity for many years and served her local congregation as board chair and member of the board. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband, kids, horses, and dog.
Rev. Juan del Hierro
Rev. Juan del Hierro is a deeply engaged sacred activist who serves as associate minister at Unity on the Bay, in Miami, Florida. Juan is involved in many social justice issues such as homelessness, child poverty, voting rights, and equality for the LGBTQ+ community. He and his husband, Tom, along with their 6-year-old son, Lucas, were part of the lawsuit that brought marriage equality to Florida in January 2015. Juan has also served on many civic boards and is a former chair of Faith in the City, a coalition of Miami spiritual communities. He serves the Unity movement in a variety of capacities, including in the Ministerial Field Program as a Mentor. In 2017 he was awarded the Local Hero Recognition at the Pink Flamingo Awards.
Rev. Paul John Roach
Paul is a native of Wales, United Kingdom, and was ordained a Unity minister in 1988. He served as senior minister of Unity Fort Worth, Texas, from 1988 to 2018. He is a graduate of Jesus College, University of Oxford, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English. He received a postgraduate degree in education from the University of Wales. Paul is a world traveler and an accomplished writer who frequently contributes to Unity Magazine. He is also the host of World Spirituality on Unity Online Radio. His website pauljohnroach.com features his latest poetry, articles, and blogs, as well as archives of sermons and podcasts.
Rev. Scott Schell
Scott is an ordained Unity minister currently serving as cominister at Unity Columbine Spiritual Center in Boulder, Colorado. Raised in Unity, he recognizes the gift Unity teachings have played in his life and is excited to serve in a role in making them available to the world. Scott has supported his continued spiritual growth through the Ridhwan School and now serves as a teacher in that discipline. With his background as a CPA, Scott brings an orientation to the practical and financial aspects of running an organization.
Rev. Sandra Campbell
Rev. Sandra Campbell is a native of Kansas City, Kansas, an ordained Unity minister, and graduate of Unity Urban Ministerial School, where she now serves as Executive Director. In her role as associate minister at Unity Temple on the Plaza, in Kansas City, Missouri, Sandra presents Sunday lessons, leads the metaphysical biblical interpretation study group, and the Wednesday evening service, among other duties. Sandra is an accomplished speaker, cofounder of Temple Toastmasters Club, and a dynamic playwright and historical reenactor. Sandra and her husband, Phil, are retired from federal service. She holds associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. Sandra and Phil live in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. They have a daughter, a son, three granddaughters, and one grandson.
Martin Fisher is a lifetime member of Unity Center of Cedar Rapids, in Iowa. He is CEO of the Fisher Group Companies, a consulting, publishing, printing, and mailing organization that assists direct marketers and nonprofit organizations in achieving their strategic objectives and fund-raising needs through donor communications, targeted publications, and direct marketing. Martin is also involved in real estate development and commercial property management with established commercial, warehouse, residential, and multifamily real estate ventures. Martin and his wife, Michele, are actively involved in volunteer leadership with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. They have two kids in college and reside in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Rev. Charline E. Manuel
Founder and CEO of One Accord Strategies, Inc., Charline is a board and leadership development consultant specializing in board training and development for faith-based organizations. An ordained Unity minister, Charline served as a congregational minister for 22 years in Miami, Florida. She serves on the faculty of the Unity Urban Ministerial School, teaching ministerial ethics, board, and church leadership. Charline has worked with faith-based organizations and guided international mission trips. She is the author of 7 books including Pray Up Your Life and Do Puppies Pray? In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Unity World Headquarters, she serves on the board of the Parliament of the World’s Religions as secretary and committee cochair of the Global Ethic Task Force.
Rev. Joy Wyler
Joy Wyler is an ordained Unity minister who retired after 11 years at Unity of Lehigh Valley, in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, to return home to Kansas City. She is a dynamic speaker and writer who shares her passion for celebrating diversity and living a life rooted in spiritual principle in all she does. She has served the Unity movement in various capacities throughout the years and regularly writes for Unity publications. Following the publication of her 2019 article “Radical Wholeness” in Unity Magazine, Joy began to explore more deeply the intersectionality of disability and spirituality. She currently has a Facebook page and blog titled Radical Wholeness, and she continues to write and facilitate workshops.
Dr. Kari Whaley
Dr. Kari Whaley is an international speaker and researcher. She regularly writes articles on leadership, and her research on supervision has been published in the journal Studies in Higher Education. She is a course director at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, and former president/CEO of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce, Florida. She has a strong background in community leadership through roles with the Osceola County Historical Society, the School District of Osceola County, and Valencia College, demonstrating skills in strategically planning and providing programming to meet expectations of growing and diverse residents. Kari has a bachelor's degree from Florida State University, a master's degree from Columbia University, and a doctorate from the University of Central Florida.
